Just lasy to open a blog. Hope it may help people.

  2. Many rental scams on Zillow, Trulia and Craigslist come from scammers using multiple names and phone numbers. I have personally found hundreds and reported them. Phone numbers include 949-485-5196 , 757-512-7811 , 615-541-9981 , 706-521-0358 , 518-639-6291 .

Use many different aliases, but all ask for deposits with a sense of urgency, use no working email or web based emails so it is harder to prove fraud and have slightly undermarket rent often for fully furnished units.

Do what you can to flag these on rental sites and use the internet to report the phone numbers so others googling can avoid the scam.
